In regards to matters of unsatisfactory scholarship, The Committee on Standards has delegated the Office of Judicial Affairs to take the automatic actions noted in the Standards of Conduct and Academic Regulation.
Students who are suspended or separated based on the noted automatic actions for unsatisfactory academic performance may request that the COS reconsider its action, by submitting to the chair, in writing, any evidence of extenuating circumstances which would warrant a change in the COS action. Each term a deadline for these requests is set and decisions are made by the first day of the succeeding term. Questions about the Request for Reconsideration process should be directed to a student's undergraduate dean or to Judicial Affairs.
